What is Seedream?
Seedream is ByteDance's family of AI image generation models. From a text prompt or a reference image, Seedream produces high-resolution images — and it is best known for two things competing models struggle with: rendering readable text inside images (posters, UI mockups, infographics) and making targeted edits without breaking the rest of the picture.
ByteDance publishes Seedream through its Seed research lab and ships it inside its own apps; there is no standalone consumer website for the model itself. That's where hosted platforms come in.
